FOV, smoothing, and visibility checks explained, plus how to tune one setting at a time offline and what ban risk actually means.

FOV is how wide it is allowed to look. Smoothing is how slow the move finishes. Visible check is meant to ignore people it should not see. I change one of those at a time, on a practice map, not in a lobby.
None of the numbers stop a ban. A wide FOV looks silly on Dust II long. A tight one is what people argue about. The aimbot page is the clean version. Bans still happen on FACEIT.

fov around 3.5, smoothing near 30. still banned on a second account in june. the slider is not a shield.

visible check is fine on walls and a coin flip in smoke. i stopped trusting banana.

fov 12 the first night because a clip looked strong. teammate asked if i was throwing. turned it down.
