FPS Drops and Overlay Stutter With Cheats CS2

I group them: one key for visuals, one for aim, one that kills both when someone is watching the screen. Nothing on WASD, nothing on my utility keys. I test on a practice map before a lobby. The first night I fat-fingered aim off and thought the product died. It had not. Insert still opens the menu.

Close extra overlays, cap background apps, and match in-game resolution before blaming the loader for frame hitches.

Discussion

Stutter was Discord overlay plus a stat tracker plus the menu. Closing the extras fixed it before I touched Windows settings. Fullscreen borderless stayed.

If FPS is fine in vanilla CS2 and bad with the menu open, scale ESP down first. Status on the Patch-day status still matters on patch days.

overlay pack from steam was the culprit. one toggle off, frames back.

laptop on battery mode throttled. plugged in, problem halved.

skeleton plus glow in a 5v5 smoke fight was slideshow. turned glow off permanently.

thought loader was broken. was actually geforce overlay recording.
